Season #3 started with much promise, as people wondered how Berkeley would follow their Season #2 118 win performance, but lasted just 10 games, as a season ending strike tarnished what otherwise could have been the best ever. The playoffs were cancelled, and there was no Mission on Thunderhead. There were no division champions as there was a 3 way tie for 1st in the West and 2 teams tied for 1st in the East.
Season #3 will forever be remembered as the season of what might have been. Three teams were on pace to win 113 games. Moscow was on pace to win only 32 games while losing 130. Eight players were batting better than .400 at the time of the strike. Two players (Frank Cully and Norman Rockwell) were on pace to score 211 runs. Paul Revere was on pace to hit 48 triples, Vladislav Volkov was on pace for 130 doubles. Mike Brady could have hit 96 home runs while driving in more than 200. Wyatt Earp was on pace to walk almost 200 times. Three pitchers (Blackface Charley Bryant, James Van Allen, and Uncle Remus) could have battled to see who would reach 50 wins first. Auguste Rodin could have finished with an ERA of 0.38, while easily striking out more than 400 batters. Four pitchers were shooting for 16 shutouts each. Alice the Housekeeper was on pace for 81 saves with an unbelievable 0.00 ERA.
Norman Rockwell took the MVP award (.458 avg, 5 2B, 4 HR, 13 Runs, 11 RBI, 1st in 10 offensive categories), while Alice the Housekeeper was awarded the Don Knotts Excellence in Pitching Award (5 Saves in 5 appearances, 0.00 ERA, 6 K in 5 2/3 IP).
