The Gotham City Comix, led by the dynamic duo of Batman and Robin, might be a contender. The city's mayor has dedicated many of the city's funds to build the stadium, and created a special law enforcement to keep fans in line, and keep safety a major issue. The stadium, located in the middle of Gotham City, next to City Hall, has police officials constantly circling it on the lookout for crime. With so much devoted to this, the Daily Planet has scrutinized the police commissioner for so much police activity and poses the question as to whether fans will even show up for the games due to all the attention. However, with so many superheroes on the team, many feel each game will sell out due to the drop off of cultural activities in Gotham. So many plays and concerts have been interupted by hoodlums that theatre groups have been refusing to perform in Gotham. Although the police say these have been isolated incidents, the Daily Planet reports that word on the street is that people are getting frightened and fearful that on game nights when all the superheroes are playing baseball crime will run rampant through the streets. The police commissioner refused further comment.
The Comix have strong fielders in Dudley Dooright in right field, a powerful hitter, and Rock Guy, guarding the line at third base, should provide some excitement.
