The Electric Ladyland Blue Meanies, with their flourescent blue uniforms and spectacular laser light shows after each game, are being heralded as possibly the best team in the league. Led by manager Moby Dick, their stadium will be neither here nor there. Nobody really knows the location of Electric Ladyland, but high speed bus service has been created on the Magical Mystery Bus Lines. The journey begins at Pepper Station, where plasticine porters with looking-glass ties direct ticket holders to their seats. You are then whisked into total darkness for 6-7 minutes followed by a bright light. The busses have been designed to transform into boats with large air bags all around for flotation. The busses then enter a waterway and take ticket holders up river through tangerine trees, marmalade skies, and cellophane flowers of yellow and green that tower overhead. A highlight of the journey is going under the Diamond Bridge, which has an enormous fountain of rocking horse people eating marshmallow pies. The bus lands at the shore and newspaper taxis take ticket holders on to the stadium. The whole journey takes approximately 64 minutes.
The Blue Meanies have the premier closer of the league in Living Loving Maid, which should seal in victories. They also have a top second baseman in St. Alphonzo, and first baseman Billy Shears is a powerful slugger.
