The Carpathian Mountain Thrillers are a team to look out for in the future. Currently the roster has many older players possible challenging the ages of arch rivals Florida Wrinkles of the Blood Nut League, but they do play with vigor. The stadium is located deep in the Carpathian Mountains, accessible only by horse-drawn carriage. The nearby Translyvanian town hosts pre-game parties and festivities. The horse-drawn carriages pick ticket holders up here and travel through fog along a dirt road past thousand year old oak trees and swampy marshlands and up into the mountain range. A high castle-like wall with an iron portcullis to keep wandering wolves outside welcomes ticket holders. The stadium, built out of old stone found and mined from the Carpathians themselves, has stood the test of mother nature. One drawback is the weather. Many lightning storms occur each week and it gets quite humid during the day. Building a dome roof is currently being considered.
The Thrillers have a lot of flash, but have rather weak pitching due to their age. Their outfielder, Metal Beast, is their strongest player, with the Creature From the Black Lagoon as their top closer.
